Opened in 2014, the Manx Electric Railway Museum has a variety of exhibits and artefacts from throughout the railways life, along with information boards about its history and rolling stock.
Opening Times: The Manx Electric Railway Museum is open every Sunday during the 2016 operating season, from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. Admission is FREE, although donations to the upkeep and expansion of the museum are welcomed. Souvenirs are also available.
Location: The Museum is located inside the Goods Shed of the Derby Castle Car Sheds, which is located to the north of Douglas’s promenade, and just north of Derby Castle Station. A Google Map link is located HERE.
At this present time, access to the museum is not suitable for people requiring disabled access. There is no public parking adjacent to the site, however on-street parking is available within a short distance, located on the north end of Douglas promenade.
