The Easter Weekend of the 14th-17th of April saw the fourth annual ‘Rush Hour’ event organised on the Manx Electric Railway, featuring a variety of enthusiast-based events on the Manx Electric Railway.
This years events incorporated an intensive service on the Sunday as well as several other events recorded below. Friday April 14th
The Friday started off with Cars No.16 and No.32 running single-motor photography specials between Derby Castle and Ramsey, working the following journeys:

Saturday April 15th

Sunday April 16th
The day saw limited edition stamp covers available for purchase from Van No.4 at Laxey Station. Van No.4 was conveyed by Car No.19 on the outbound (via Ramsey) and return to Derby Castle.
A special intensive timetable between Ramsey and Laxey with 9 sets was operated for the majority of the day, with the following Car sets in use:

- Car No.7
- Car No.16
- Car No.19/Van No.4
- Car No.21/Trailer No.40, Car No.21/Trailer No.47

Car No.7 suffered a auto fault at Port Jack prior to its second round trip, which was later cancelled between Derby Castle and Laxey (the trip being picked up by Car No.32 between Laxey and Ramsey), and was later replaced by Car No.16.
In the evening a special free ‘Evening Photography’ event was ran at Derby Castle Car Sheds between 19:00 and 21:00. Participants were able to photograph a series of cameo scenes, including the posing of Cars No.1, No.2, No.6 on the Top Shed fan, Cars No.19 and No.22 inside the Top Shed, Cars No.16 and No.32 outside the bottom shed, and Cars No.20 and Trailer No.44 inside the Bottom Shed. In addition, ‘Illuminated’ Car No.9 ran two special parallel runs to Lag Birragh, departing at 19:30 and 20:30.
Monday April 17th
In the morning, Car No.32 and Car No.21 (with Trailer No.47) operated a special parallel run between Laxey and Dhoon Glen, leaving Laxey at 09:10 (Car No.32 working up from Derby Castle to meet it at 08:30). Weather conditions were sadly not very suitable, including a blanket of mist as the cars approached Bulgham! Car No.32 then worked a series of Driver Experience Motorman Taster sessions between Laxey and Dhoon Quarry, returning to Derby Castle shortly after 16:30.
