A strange site at Derby Castle Car Sheds! Douglas Bay Horse Tramway’s No.36 was delivered to Derby Castle on the 11th of April following off-site attention. The tram has had substantial repairs to the bodywork and is now in the top shed for further work and repaint.
It is the first Horse Tram to be on M.E.R metals since No.11, No.47 and No.49 were removed from the Electric Railway Museum at Ramsey Car Shed in 1992. The tram is expected to be in use on the Bay Tramway during the 2017 season.
