1900s

Trailer No.45, wearing the then-new ‘The Manx Electric Railway Co Ltd’ livery, heads across the viaduct with a 4-9 series car providing the power. The ‘Tunnel’ Car is wearing the intermediate ‘Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey Electric Railway’ livery, meaning this photograph can be easily dated as being the early 1900s. Note the gradient post on the far right. © Travel Lens Photographic
