‘Winter Saloon’ Car No.21 hurries across the Groudle Viaduct with Van No.3 in tow on the 21st of May 1961. The car is sporting the intermediate livery that it carried post-Nationalisation Green (with no lining to the bottom panel), when it was quickly decided to remove the livery in favour of Red and White once again. © A.D Packer
