Bus Strike Timetable – March 2026
The Manx Electric Railway will be operating tram services on Mondays and Fridays during March, only when strike action is taking place on Bus Vannin services, to the following timetable:

These services ONLY are treated as bus services for ticketing – standard bus fares will apply on all services and School Children may use the relevant SCH travel cards to travel to and from school. The usual principles used by bus vannin in terms of Go Silver, Go Gold, Go Places, Go Saver etc will all apply to these services too. Other timetabled services are NOT including in this ticketing scheme and are subject to normal tram fares.
Manx Electric Railway services operate from Tuesday 17th March to Sunday 1st November 2026.

If two letters apply both timetables are running. If no letters apply, no services are running that day.
Ticket Prices and Fare Information
Intermediate stops are by request other than Laxey.
To alight at a request stop, inform the conductor which one you would like on boarding.
To board, give a clear hand signal to the driver.

Go Explore cards offer 1, 3, 5, or 7 days unlimited travel on Manx Electric and Snaefell Mountain Railways as well as bus services, the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, Isle of Man Steam Railway, Groudle Glen Railway and Great Laxey Mines Railway.
