History: Van No.15 was built at Derby Castle in 1908, classified as a ‘large mail van’. GR Royal Mail lettering was added from construction for Post Office duty. No.15 was last overhauled in 1943, and was wrecked in an breakaway at Ballaglass in August 1944, and as a result scrapped shortly after.
