History:
F.70 was built as the amalgamation of 4-wheeled coach bodies B.9 and B.14 on a bogied chassis. The coach ran until 1968, whereupon the bodies were scrapped and it was used as a runner. In 2001, it was for rebuilding as the railways second ballast hopper, numbered ‘2’. F.70 has recently used for a track relaying and ballasting at Howstrake on the Manx Electric, arriving in December 2013.
