Details of the 2014 Isle of Man Railways Calendar Competition have just been announced.
Entries are to be sent on a CD or DVD (maximum of 10 images, with a minimum image size of 2MB each) to – Anji Street, Transport Headquarters, Banks Circus, Douglas, IM1 5PT. Please ensure that your entry is labelled with your name, address and telephone number. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. Employees of the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure are not eligible to enter this competition. It is acknowledged that ownership and all intellectual property rights for entries into the competition shall pass to the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure. All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition.
Of the photographs picked for the 2014 Calendar, the picture which, in the Judges’ opinion is the best, will win the photographer a ride on the footplate from Douglas to Port Erin (The minimum age for footplate is 16). Runners up will receive a copy of the 2014 Calendar.
It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Closing date for enteries is 31st May 2013.
