By 1983 No.9 had lost it’s twin-piece windows and iron ‘gate doors’. However, the Car had received a repaint into the short-lived 1899 ‘Douglas Laxey and Ramsey’ livery for the Centenary of Electric Traction celebrations in 1979. © Peter Makinson
