With Car No.2 now sporting a different colour scheme to that of Car No.1, the opportunity was taken during August 2003 to have both do a parallel run between Derby Castle and Groudle, to celebrate 110 years of service for both of the Cars. Although not strictly part of a public events programme (the event being part of a private hire by the Isle of Man 50 Group), it marked another milestone of service, and the first time they had appeared on a parallel run in different liveries!
